Dr. Avery Mills

Dr. Avery Mills grew up in Martinsville, Virginia. He graduated from Virginia Tech (go Hokies!) with a BS in Biological Sciences and Economics. After completing his undergraduate degree he attended dental school in Virginia as well at Virginia Commonwealth University. This is Dr. Mills’ first time as a North Carolinian and he loves the topography and climate. Mountains and beach is hard to beat!

When Avery isn’t caring for his patients he enjoys playing pickleball, golf and lounging at the lake. He loves to wakeboard and wake surf as well. Dr. Mills is excited to be a member of the Sunrise Dental team! He looks forward to helping patients lead pain free lives so they can enjoy their favorite foods with smiles that instill confidence.
